Setup Guide
Follow these steps before running Pearlescent. All steps are required unless marked optional.
Important: Complete ALL required steps before launching the loader. Skipping steps will result in errors or crashes.
1 System Requirements
- Windows 10/11 (64-bit only)
- The game installed via its launcher
- 8 GB RAM minimum (16 GB recommended)
- Administrator access on your PC
2 Disable Windows Memory Integrity
- Open Windows Security → Device Security
- Click Core Isolation Details

This step requires a reboot. The setting will not fully apply until you restart.
3 Disable Windows Defender
- Open Windows Security → Virus & Threat Protection

- Turn OFF "Real-time protection"
Do NOT skip this step. Windows Defender will quarantine the loader and driver files immediately.

Troubleshooting
"DriverEntry returned 0xE0000010 — hook failed"
This means the driver couldn't hook. Make sure:
- Memory Integrity is OFF (reboot after changing)
- Restart your PC after making all changes
"Access Denied" or loader closes immediately
You must run as Administrator. Right-click → Run as Administrator.
"Key bound to different machine"
Your key is HWID-locked. Go to pearlescent.cc/portal to self-service reset your HWID (3 resets per week).
Windows Defender keeps deleting files
Disable real-time protection (Step 3) and make sure Tamper Protection is also off (Step 4).
